Technology has come a long way in my lifetime. I remember being a child and not having any sort of cellphone, and now we can get micro-digital cameras that also work as keychains? Absolutely wild how fast technology has changed over time. With all this in mind, I was pretty excited to see how everyone reacted to the Photo Creator Mini Cam Digital Camera.
This entire digital camera can fit in the palm of my hand, providing a cute little keychain that has a lot of functionality. Inside the camera is a tiny micro-SD card, which can be used to get the pictures and videos off of it. A button on the top turns on the Photo Creator Mini Cam Digital Camera, which has a digital display on the back, showing you what you are looking at or taking a picture of. The 2.5 mm lens looks a little distorted to my eye, but I think that’s just the passing of technology rapidly.
The camera is able to take pictures complete with flash, and record videos with sound. I think it’s a really cool, tiny way to document your day or create little memories! There are also arrows on the side, which can change the filter of whatever you are taking a picture of. These filters can change the colour of everything you are looking at, or add different frames to what you can see.
The camera doesn’t take a battery and instead comes with a small USB to USB-C cable that you can use to charge it. You can see how much battery life is left on the display at the back. Considering my youngest, Robin, carried it around for two full days of adventures, the battery does hold up quite well! The camera itself is sturdy and durable – at one point, a bottle of water was spilt on it, but it was fine.
I do also appreciate how metal and durable the clip is, so this is something that you can easily put on your bag and carry around with you.
The actual photos and videos that come out of the Photo Creator Mini Cam Digital Camera are a little blurry and feel more retro than the ones you may get on your mobile, but it’s still such a fun little functional keychain to have.
