PlayStation Asia has reportedly leaked details of an unannounced update coming to Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, 2.1, next week.
As shared on the Stalker subreddit, a graphic listing the update’s highlights, called The Zone Lookout, was posted to PlayStation Asia’s Twitter/X account.
The post said update 2.1 was “out now”, but it appears to have gone up early, with the update reportedly due next week. At the time of writing, the tweet is still live.
The image suggests we’ll see an increase in A-Life NPC visualisation range, related adjustments to combat and ballistics, fast travel with squad leaders, and other bug fixes and improvements. Beyond that, though, it was otherwise light on detail.
Update 2.0 arrived on 20th August alongside the Cost of Hope expansion, adding binoculars, a fog mechanic, A-Life changes, and “dozens of hours of content”.
Earlier this year, GSC Game World studio founder Sergiy Grygorovych claimed Microsoft paid a significant sum to keep the then-upcoming open-world shooter a timed Xbox exclusive.
