It’s been a bumper year for Nintendo, with the likes of and Pokémon Pokopia kicking off 2026 in a very str ong way for the company, and more recently with games like Fire Emblem

and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort picking up strong scores for the platform holder.

But Nintendo still has more to come: today, the company announced a new Indie World Showcase. It’ll take place tomorrow, 28th October and it will air at 7AM PT / 10AM ET/ 2PM GMT / 3PM CEST. The presentation will include games coming to both Switch 2

and the original Switch, and it will last for 15 minutes.

“Join us on Oct 28 at 7am PT for a new #IndieWorld Showcase!” says a tweet from the company. “Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.”

The last Indie World Showcase we saw took place in March (and again, it was about 15 minutes long), and showed off titles like Mixtape, Toem 2, Blue Prince, Rotwood, Moonlighter 2, Denshattack, Blighted, Deadzone: Rogue, and more. These are the sort of titles you’re to expect in tomorrow’s showcase.

What are the big games that are going to be shown here? Now that Silksong has been released, there isn’t the same fervour for Indie ‘Directs’ like this – but maybe we’ll get shown something here that will incite that passion in gamers once again.
