As for the release date itself, we now know the game will launch on the 24th September, 2026. This comes after many fans were growing doubtful the game would still hit a 2026 release at all. The CEO did assure fans that the game was still on track for a 2026 release, which has proven true!

For those curious about how the first game’s protagonist – Jesse – is involved, an official PlayStation blog on the new trailer provides some extra info. It reads: “[Dylan’s] story drives Resonant, but as in the first game, the other sibling shapes the path. The Fadens’ arcs revolve around each other, and that’s what propels their shared story. Both games are, ultimately, about the siblings confronting their destinies.”

Eager beavers can pre-order the game now, which will provide 48 hours of early access to the game as well as a selection of fancy cosmetics. This includes a digital artbook, a starter resource bundle, the original soundtrack, an untapped artifact, and the AWE mission outfit for Dylan.
