Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 closes with £1.8m raised for Prevent Cancer Foundation and a 70-player relay in Super Mario 64 Replay

Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 has raised $2.44 million (£1.8m) for its latest cause, Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The annual speedrunning fundraiser – just one of several of Games Done Quick’s yearly events – finished up early today in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a Pokémon Emerald speedrun.

As always, while thousands of guests attended in person, the speedrunning feats were also simultaneously broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube.

Since 2010, Games Done Quick has collectively raised more than $59.8 million for charities worldwide, including Malala Fund and Organization for Autism Research. The next event kicks off on 5th February in Minneapolis to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières.
