Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival gets a playable demo and a new trailer ahead of its October launch

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has a new playable demo out now on Steam ahead of its full launch on 8th October.

It arrived alongside a new trailer, Scarlet Church, which introduces the cult attempting to build a “debauched paradise for mankind” within Clive Barker’s Hell. Even the censored version is stuffed with gore, sex, torture, violence, and a lot of rubber – so viewer discretion advised and all that.

In the demo, players explore the shifting Labyrinth and face off against the Scarlet Church, which has taken possession of the Genesis Configuration, a coveted puzzle box central to the story. It introduces the game’s main characters and the basics of combat, crafting and puzzle-solving, though none of the progress carries over to the full release.

Hellraiser: Revival is available to pre-order now for £35 (£45 for the Deluxe Edition, with either unlocking an exclusive Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin at launch.

Two Collector’s Editions, including a range of exclusive licensed collectibles, are also up for pre-order, and carry over all Deluxe Edition bonuses.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival was announced a year ago, and developer diaries have fed us scraps of information since, but we finally got the release date in June: 8th October 2026. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S.
